This pregnancy has been much easier than Mason's. I threw up only a handful of times through the first trimester. Now I'm at 22 weeks and feel him kicking. At 15 weeks we went to 'fetal fotos' and found out that we were expecting a boy. I was hoping for a girl at first, but now I am so excited that Mason gets a little brother to play with. The last year or so, I have seen that he really wants a sibling to play with. After I explained to Mason that there is a baby in my tummy, he comes up to me often and gives my tummy hugs and kisses. At first he pointed to his tummy and said 'baby? tummy?', but now I think he gets it. He asks me to 'open up' my tummy so he can see the baby...but I try to explain to him that he's going to have to be patient for about 4 more months for him to see his brother.

baby boy #2 and law school
We were so excited to find out around the same time that Nate had been accepted to Virginia Law School, and that we were expecting a baby boy. Nate took the LSAT on October 6th, got his results back two weeks later, applied early decision to the University of Virginia LawSchool, and found out a month later that he was accepted. We were both so excited, and grateful. This path feels so right for our family. We will miss our friends here and our family so much.
