St George

We are so lucky right now that we have this time to travel and see family and friends. This week we decided to take a trip to St George. On our way we stopped in Cedar City to see the Shakespeare Festival and my cute cousin Jake and his family. We met up with them for dinner and enjoyed catching up with them. Nate's Grandparents were also going to the Shakespeare Festival, so last minute we decided to join them and stay with them for a few days. So glad we did.

driving by this beautiful Cedar City Temple which is almost completed!

The Greenshow at the Shakespeare Festival

love Nate's Grandparents!

Mason and Stan loved these performers....so did we!

The Globe Theater

getting their tickets for the train ride

These boys are getting SO tall! Ah!

I ran into a former missionary I served with in Nauvoo. Somehow he remembered me playing my fiddle there! I hope I can have that kind of memory at his age!

He let my boys get on the engine and pull the whistle

Stan wanted to ride this fun swing, but was scared. Lucky for a Dad who jumps to the rescue

This Mason - such a handsome guy!

Stanley...Mason's little shadow. So grateful Mason is such a good example to him.

finding shade in St George is a must on a hot sunny day

Mason is such a sweet and helpful older brother

figuring this thing out on his own...so proud of this kid! I love his spirit of adventure.

"Mom, look at the volcano!! There's smoke coming out of it!" See what I mean? This park has it all!

Nate's Grandparents took us to see one of their ancestors - John Freeman who lived in St George for many years as one of the first settlers. Those blessed Pioneers - how did they do it? The heat and sandy soil - but they persevered, and now it is a thriving community.

natural stair case. This place is just unbelievable! I mean, its natural beauty is unreal!

this moss was such a beautiful bright color - I had to take a pic

this cute little guy with all of his rocks piled into his pockets makes him look like the Hulk.

Mason loves collecting things (as you might have already figured out). Here he is collecting "marbles"

Stan assisted in the effort

ready to get out in the water!

Tuacahn Theater - such a beautiful setting!

having fun together playing dress ups. Mason would make a good clown. He make us laugh every day!
