Cougs and Camping

It's officially fall here in Virginia, and I am loving it. It's nice to feel the cooler air, and start pulling out the sweaters. Hurray for fall. I'm looking forward to seeing some color in the leaves - which apparently is in full display already in Utah. We had a great week. This week was kite flying (top ten fun mothering moments - ah! why didn't I bring my camera?), a tennis date with Nate (finally starting to feel like I'm getting a little better), camping with friends - little sleep (am I right?) but so nice to be outside and enjoy the nature, hanging out with our cute little friends Olivia and Claire a little, and attending a Cross Country meet where BYU won in both men and womens! We got to chat with one of the girl runners and I am always so impressed with their light, their humility, and their strength. Those runners are a credit to that school. Still proud of my Cougs - forever and always.

making bread with my little helpers right there is always a treat

here is Stanley trying to grab Mason's tongs, those were a hit item for some reason :)

Shenandoah Valley campground did not disappoint

They had so many bunnies around this campground that you could feed. Here is my sweet friend Rainy - 7 months pregnant and camping like a champion. I feel like such a baby compared to her.

a little pizza and some smoothies...strawberry mango.
