FLORENCE
That evening we drove to Florence and landed ourselves in a hotel close to the center of the city. The next morning we visited the Galleria Academia which is famous for containing Michelangelo's David. Beautiful to see the real thing up close. It's huge.
After that we took a taxi to our sculpting class. It was amazing, and I loved it. Nate has got some real talent there by the way. We got to sculpt a piece of Michelangelo's David's face. Nate chose the lips and I the nose, since I have a prominent one of those :).
Afterward we walked through the old town and saw the amazing history of Florence.
Such a beautiful city
