Last year we took a short weekend trip to visit the WWI Monument to mark the 100 year anniversary since the ending of the Great War. This monument is in Kansas City, Missouri. Besides getting some delicious BBQ, we also visited several Church sites, including Independence and the Liberty Jail and Museum, the Independence Museum, and the site of the massacre at Hans Mill. It was a special time to visit, to remember both those who fought valiantly in WWI, as well as the Pioneers of the 1800s.
