Stanley's baby blessing was a beautiful and memorable day for us. It was so great to have both sets of Nate's grandparents visiting from Southern Utah and Arizona. I also had family drive one or two hours, with large families - having to make other arrangements for their Church callings. We were amazed by the love and sacrifice they showed by coming! We are so blessed to have such a family!
Nate blessed him with the gift of Charity. Wow. It was such a beautiful blessing. I was trying not to cry so that I could write down the words. Fortunately my Aunt Elaine wrote it all down in shorthand, so we have almost the entire blessing. So sweet! It is amazing to get a glimpse into the life of that little baby! I feel so fortunate to be his Mom. He and Mason both. I will try to keep reminding myself of that as they get through the two year old stage :). I need to keep that eternal perspective on who they really are...amazing souls with great gifts and capacity.

Lucky for us, Nate's Mom saw that Mason was smiling, and told Nate to jump in for a family photo op. I love this one! |
