We had a great time in Hawaii for the Freeman Family Reunion 2019. Nate's Dad had been teaching there at BYU Hawaii so they invited us all to join them there for about a week of sunshine, relaxation, and adventure. Thank you Mom and Dad Freeman! We also got to see Nate's best friend from high school, Ben St Claire and his family. Our boys got along really well with theirs and looked like they could be cousins. He picked us up from the airport, took us mango picking, out to eat at a fun restaurant on the Air Force base with a beautiful view of the Ocean, and then to the beach. We also hiked some falls.
With Nate's family we stayed at Turtle Bay, went snorkeling at Shark's Cove, ate a few days for breakfast at Tedd's Bakery, visited the Polynesian Culture Center and Temple, Waimea Valley and falls, and Hukilau Beach. We also got to tour the campus of BYU Hawaii. Such a fun week. I ran into my friend also from Charlottesville Mandy Perkins which was also a highlight. Mason and Stanley also took their first surfing lessons. So fun to soak up with sun with these guys. We love the Freeman Family!
