Mason's name means 'Builder of Stone or Builder of Brick', so I had to take him to the Builders Museum in DC. It's a bit off the beaten path and costs a little, but Mason and Stanley really enjoyed their time there. It's lovely to see their personalities come out in their play, and to actually take time to play with them. It's refreshing for both of us, because at home, their play time is far too often, my get things done time. I want to take more time to play with them and remember that this sweet playful time of their life goes by far too quickly. I also feel like free play and building helps develop a part of their brain that is so important for them later on. Here are a few of the picture I took of our outing that morning. Enjoy!
