While Daddy was at work, I took my boys to the National Arboretum. Fun to explore the grounds and see the amazing variety of plants. Wow. I'm always so amazed by Creation. Later that day I picked up Nate from an Army base where he had been working, and had fun exploring what a military base is like. We got ice cream and went to a park. It really felt safe and quiet there and I had a blast with my boys. After picking up Daddy we dropped by the George Mason home for a few minutes, then took the trek back to Charlottesville through a pretty intense rain/hail/thunder and lightening storm. We stopped a couple of times but we made it home, safe and sound. Love our beloved Charlottesville.
