Today we attended a ward in Arlington. I always appreciate attending new wards, feeling a beautiful spirit there, and renewing my faith and gaining new strength for a new week. It was such a beautiful meeting. The music is always what seems to touch me the most. Bless our Fast we Pray - the words in that hymn are beautiful. After Church we headed downtown since Nate has been wanting to see the Portrait Gallery. On the way we saw the Roosevelt Memorial, The WWII Memorial, and The Vietnam Memorial. Sweet and somber, to remember the valiant sacrifices of so many. We also indulged Stanley's strong desire to feed some ducks. It was a cloudy day which tempted to rain on us, but didn't and kept us a little more cool instead.
| Both boys fell asleep in the car on the way there, so we just gently transferred them over to the stroller and enjoyed taking our time at the Memorial. |
